                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Anushka Sharma (born 1 May 1988) is a model and an actress of the Bollywood film industry. He started his acting journey in 2008 with the Hindi film Rab made by The Jodi, which was made by Aditya Chopra. It was highly appreciated for her film Band Baaja Baraat (2010) created by her Shruti Kakkad. Both of them have nominated them for Best Actress in the Filmfare Awards.

Born and raised in Ayodhya in Bangalore, Sharma got her first break as a model for fashion designer Wendell Rodricks in 2007 and went to Mumbai to make a career in modeling. After a successful audition in Yash Raj Films, she signed the contract of three films with production house and started her screen in front of Shahrukh Khan in Rab made The Jodi (2008). In the film, she was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. His next two roles were also under the banner of Yash Raj Films - Badmash Company (2010) and Band Baja Baraat (2010).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Career
Anuskha Sharma says that in the beginning, she wants to make a name in the modeling world and was not particularly attracted towards the films. He modeled his modeling career in the Lambie fashion vic as the model of Wendell Rodricks's Les Dumps show and was selected as the main model for the Spring Summer 07 Collection of Rodricks. After this he has worked in the promotion of Silk & Shine, Whisper, Nathalah Jewelery and Fiat Palio.

The first character in her performance was opposite of Shah Rukh Khan in Aditya Chopra's Rab made The Jodi (2008). His performance was very much appreciated. The film was highly appreciated by critics and it was a blockbuster hit. His second film, Badmaash Company, which was produced by Yash Raj Films, was released on May 7, 2010.

In 2010, Sharma completed his deal with Yash Raj Films with Band Baaja Baraat, which Manish Sharma had made and Ranvir Singh was in the lead role. The film received a good review and the film was successful, Anushka Sharma's performance was also appreciated. It is often noted that the film has been a major headway for Anushka's film career, because it gave them a lot of recognition.
